This was sort of an ‘audition’ piece. I was in between jobs, having recently left Climax, I was somehow talking to Chris Kingsley at Rebellion and he asked me to implement a 3d Model Editor, so they could enable mod-ing of AvP without risking getting into trouble with Autodesk (encouraging piracy).

My Contribution

I managed to implement a 3d Modelling tool, that ticked all the boxes to ensure that Rebellion didn’t get sued by Autodesk, in less than a week. This included all the functionality needed to create models, and even imported and exported OBJ files. Chris was so impressed I was hired to set up a Rebellion ‘South’ office. Yay!
