The Mummy

I handled the conversion of the movie tie in The Mummy from PlayStation console to PC and Dreamcast. Unfortunately the Dreamcast version was cancelled when Sega decided to stop supporting their console.

My Contribution

I prepared a Dreamcast compatibly codebase using an example project included in the Dreamcast SDK, which could be compiled in Visual Studio to run on both Console and PC. Then I implemented a PlayStation API emulation layer, so much of the original code would ‘just run’, once I’ve managed to emulate much of the original platforms behaviour. I continued to use this codebase for over a decade as the basis of a ‘refreshed’ version of my own game engine which I maintained until about 2014.
