This was a conversion of the San Francisco Rush arcade machine onto Sony PlayStation. I really enjoyed this development, we have the Arcade machine in the office, and we travelled to the USA to meet with the original development team including meeting Ed Logg developer of Asteroids.
My Contribution
I was the lead developer on this conversion from Arcade to PlayStation console. One of the first things I did when setting out with this project was to develop a 3D asset exporter for something called ‘3ds Max’, and I encouraged the art team to use this new software to create the maps and cars for the game.
