Mega-lo-Mania was our very first Amiga to PC conversion for Sensible Software, on this occasion we were hired by Mirrorsoft (of Robert Maxwell falling off his Yacht fame). The problem was, that the assets of the Mirror Group were frozen prior to our receiving our final payment for the development of the game, and likewise Sensible were rather banking of getting their royalties, so out of desperation I got in touch with Yves Goullemot at Ubisoft, explained the falling off a yacht situation, and somehow arranged for them to buy the rights from the Mirror group. Yay! We get our final payment and Sensible Software were saved.
My Contribution
As Managing/Technical Director for Audio Visual Magic Ltd, my main contribution was relating to business management and internal Production for this project. This was an amazingly fun game to be involved with, although the challenge caused by Mirror Group failing was a bit stressful, we even attempted a sit in, at their offices.
